Team HRC’s Tim Gajser and Evgeny Bobryshev will be taking their CRF450RW to a new track on the MXGP calendar in Indonesia.

Gajser is ready to fight for the title now that he is over the fever that hampered his progress in Qatar, although it didn’t stop the World Champion standing on the podium, and Bobryshev will be eager to push his world championship standings into the top three on his #777 CRF450RW.

The venue is located away from the mainland in a town called Pangkal Pinang which is the largest town in the Indonesian Island of Bangka. The track will incorporate wave sections, dragons back and a fair few jumps. The length is around 1500m so lap times should be just under two minutes.

The weather this weekend could potentially make conditions difficult as the last few weeks have been particularly bad with heavy rain, but even this will not deter the humidity that the riders will have to face. Although the temperature looks to be around 23-30 degrees Celsius the humidity will reach little lower than 85 per cent.

I am looking forward to going to Indonesia as it’s something new again. I have seen a few pictures from the track, it looks nice and hopefully it doesn’t rain anymore because they have had so much rain there. It will be hot out there still even with the rain but it would be good if the weather was nice. I am hoping for a good race as I should be over this fever I have been suffering with by then and I hope all the pain goes away and I am feeling back to normal again.

Evgeny Bobryshev 777

This weekend I have heard many people talking about Indonesia and how much rain they have had there over the last week or so but it is a sand track and a new place so everyone is also excited to ride there. One thing that we do struggle with as racers out here is that the food and the water can be a little sensitive on our stomachs as it is so different to what we are use too but hopefully this will be ok.
The humidity is going to be intense so I have started to prepare for this. It is important not to dehydrate yourself or push too hard and pass out, you need to stay healthy but I am really looking forward getting out there and racing.

Gajser came away from Qatar in second place which is very solid start to the season and we have to consider he wasn't really well at this event. He was riding nicely as Tim can do so now its a case of building on this and improving from here.
Bobryshev had an excellent race in race one, he had more of a struggle in race two but the speed is there. Both riders love the CRF450RW Honda so we can keep improving that for the boys and with that, hopefully results will come.
