Team HRC’s Gautier Paulin and Evgeny Bobryshev will return to action once more this weekend as the MXGP paddock returns to Switzerland and to the new venue of Frauenfeld.
The Frauenfeld region is located 41km northeast of Zurich. Built on flat ground, the track itself is entirely new and not the traditional hillside tracks that the circus is used to competing on in Switzerland. Constructed with a number of doubles and wave sections, the paddock will have to wait until Friday to see the new hard pack track.
The weather for the weekend should also be kinder to the field than last weekend in Belgium, with a forecast for 25degrees and clear skies during the weekend although the possibility of rain on Friday.
It’s the last race in the season’s penultimate trio of back-to-back rounds, before a short two-week break leads into the final triple-header of Grands Prix in Assen, followed by the final overseas events in Charlotte and the iconic Glen Helen.
